About Cinnamon Sugar & Spice Cafe

Did you know that Cinnamon Sugar & Spice Cafe is 100% local, 100% woman owned and operated, and 100% dedicated to offering you the best possible food at the best possible prices?

It all started with my very first Easy Bake Oven…..but I digress. 😉

Back in 2003 I opened the Plaza Eatery in the Albuquerque Government Center at One Civic Plaza. We have been serving up breakfast burritos and frito pies there ever since! Most of my staff has been there for over 10 years, and they are all truly amazing women! The city and county workers are wonderful people and have been great supporters of local business. They sampled all the recipes I ever experimented with …some good, some not so good! LOL What you see and what we serve at Cinnamon Sugar & Spice Cafe are the recipes developed over the last 17 years at the Plaza Eatery, and what I learned from my mom and my yiayia. They were both amazing women!

In addition to the Plaza Eatery, we operate a cafe in the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center. I have an amazing kind and compassionate staff there as well!

That brings us to 2019 and the second Cinnamon Sugar & Spice Cafe, located in the historic Nob Hill Shopping Center. This location is super special to me because I remember going to the super market there with my mom and siblings when we were kids. My mom drove a white VW Bug, and we stood up and jumped around the back seat. That’s right…no seat belts. (And I lived to tell about it!) If you live in the area, or are a local, you probably agree that Nob Hill, in spite of the ART Project–don’t get me started–is a special place and always will be. I hope you have the opportunity to come check out the new cafe!

Thank you for all your support!
