About Cinnamon Sugar & Spice Cafe

Did you know that Cinnamon Sugar & Spice Cafe is 100% local, 100% woman owned and operated, and 100% dedicated to offering you the best possible food at the best possible prices?

It all started with my very first Easy Bake Oven…..but I digress. 😉

Back in 2003 I opened the Plaza Eatery in the Albuquerque Government Center at One Civic Plaza. We had been serving up breakfast burritos and frito pies up until October of 2019 when we closed for the City to do a much needed kitchen remodel!  Most of my staff had been there for over 10 years, and they were all truly amazing women!  All transfered to my other locations, and some are still with me today.  The city and county workers are wonderful people and have been great supporters of local business. They sampled all the recipes I ever experimented with …some good, some not so good! LOL What you see and what we serve at Cinnamon Sugar & Spice Cafe are the recipes developed over the last 17 years at the Plaza Eatery, and what I learned from my mom and my yiayia. They were both amazing women!

Fast forward to post-well, you know….here we are at 2023.  So when life hands you lemons…that’s right…we make lemon bars, and they are ohhhh so good!

Long story short, currently, due to, well, you know…we have two locations in operation.  One is at 5809 Juan Tabo Blvd Sweet A, and a small cafe in the University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center.  We offer private parties and cooking classes at the JT location.  (Check our calender for details and availability.)  Hope to see you all there!

Thank you for all your support all these years, we wouldn’t be here without you!
